Cherry Blossoms
It is 5:30 am on an early April morning. The air is crisp, and the walkways of the tidal basin in Washington DC are teeming with cherry blossom watchers. Some couples are enjoying a breakfast picnic with champagne and orange juice. I have several nice pictures of the long lines of cherry blossom trees along the water, but I always like an image that is a bit different. This print was made beneath an overhanging branch of blossoms. On first glance, most people think the print is upside down. It's not. It's just a little weird.
